For young people struggling with anxiety & depression, Mello is an evidence-based app designed specifically to support the mental health of young minds. Made for real-life, Mello offers practical tools to help you get out of your head & on with your day—anytime, anywhere.

HOW MELLO WORKS
Mello works by helping you to tackle the root cause of anxiety & depression — stuck thinking. Based on practical, science-backed techniques like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mello has been developed by psychologists and researchers alongside young people to offer effective clinical solutions that work.

Mello helps you develop the skills required to proactively manage your mental health by suggesting the most effective evidence-based activities to offer you in-the-moment relief. Through regular check-ins and activities, youll begin to develop an understanding of your mental health patterns, learning to identify patterns of stuck-thinking in order to make beneficial long-term changes.

Features on the Mello app:
— Get unstuck and relieve your busy or burdened mind
— Track your mood through regular prompted check-ins
— Receive tailored therapy activity recommendations
— Access a range of evidence-based therapy activities
— Build skills to break the cycle of negative thinking long-term
— Options to watch, listen or read content
— Learn to identify patterns of stuck thinking with insights

Mello is backed and delivered by Orygen Digital, a not for profit organisation within the University of Melbourne that is dedicated to improving the lives of young people by making mental health support accessible for all.

WHAT USERS ARE SAYING:
"Having all of this in an app was a good change, because I could go at my own pace. I had a variety of different activities that I could choose depending on my mood or how I was feeling, where I was, which was really good to have those differences that normally you wouldnt get in person."

"I really liked the guided sessions. I thought those were really helpful. They had a good voice, they just sort of guided you through it."
